Hello, I recently purchased a new system (running Windows 10 Pro) for music production, whose specs I have just attached down here. I have audio glitches and playing cursor intermittency on my digital audio workstation of choice (Bitwig Studio 2.1.4), but I tested the problem is present even on Ableton Live 9.7.4. After doing some research on the internet I found out that the NIC might be the culprit. And for real as soon as I uninstall the Intel Ethernet Connection either via device manager or via BIOS the lag completely disappears even in complex projects and I noticed this happens even if I just switch the router off. The cursor intermittency can last for over 4 seconds, during the lag nothing on the screens is moving not even the mixer faders. Audio glitches occur more rarely. I tried to update every possible drivers and asked the pc manufacturer for some advice. They think it can't depend on software and that I should substitute the Intel NIC with another brand but I am not quite sure. Bitwig was running perfectly in my old system with full-fledged ethernet load and onto Windows 8.1...
Audio latency on my DAW "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V" the culprit???
X710 VPD status : Corrupted
Hi,
I'm just looking at a server with X710 card issue - there are two cards shown in device manager, i am unsure of physical setup as the server is in remote location. One of these cards is operational, the other one is reporting "This device cannot start. (Code 10) {Operation Failed}". nvmupdatew64e.exe inventory output is show below, it is showing firmware problem on this card. As attempt to fix the problem I gave firmware update a try already - NVMUpdatePackage 4.53 reports "access denied" in status column, 6.01 which is the latest one reports "update not available". Would it be possible to get recovery of force reflash procedure for this card, please?

ULP Tool
Hi all
i got a Maximus VII Impact with a bug on RJ45. The motherboard look good but the RJ45 is in "CODE 10" in Windows manager. I try many solutions but no one done. It's the i218-v component.
Solution 1 : Unplug all power cable and unplug the cmos battery => no effect
Solution 2 : Put Boot as normal in motherboard bios => no effect
Solution 3 : Disable rj45 in bios / boot / reboot / enable rj45 in bios / reboot => no effect
Solution 4 : Disable rj45 in Windows manager / reboot / enable rj45 in Windows manager / reboot => no effect
Solution 5 : Update rj45 in Windows manager => no effect because the rj45 is in "CODE 10"
i read there is a litlle tool named UPL Tool, tool able to flash the rj45 rom. I need it to try if i can repair this rj45 slot.
perhaps it will have no effect but i have to try on my motherboard. If anyone have other solution i'll appreciate a lot.

X520-SR2. Also possible to connect LR optics?
Hello community,
I am wondering if it is possible to connect a LR optic to one port of the x520-SR2 card or if it only supports SR optics. The chip should be the same for all X520 models or am I missing something?
Otherwise I guess I have to go along with one X520-LR1 and one X520-SR1 which is more expensive.
Also, I am wondering if the X520 cards support 1Gbps aswell since I wont be able to upgrade both ends simultaneously. It should be backward compatible but I know that some SFP+ Modules for example support 10Gb only.
I hope you can help me or maybe lead to the right direction.

Genuine Intel X550-T2 but Yottamark MAC wrong?
Hello,
My question is exactly the same as the one here: Genuine Intel X550 but Yottamark MAC wrong?
I also bought the X550 T2 from Newegg.com (sold by Newegg, not a third-party) and the yottamark says that it is genuine and the part name and PBA number are correct, but the MAC address differs from the one on the sticker of the card.
Is this card genuine? I have already sent an email to support@yottamark.com
Is there an Intel Employee that I can contact to verify that this card is genuine before my return period is over?
Thank you
Genuine Intel X550 but Yottamark MAC wrong?
Hello,
I recently purchased an Intel X550-T2 Network Adapter from a large online vendor based in City of Industry, CA. The network card was sold by the online vendor themself, not a marketplace vendor.
I know that counterfeit cards are a real problem and I want to do the utmost to make certain my card is genuine. I was excited to find the YottaMark on the back of the card. I loaded up verify.yottamark.com, put in my code, and the code validates as valid. It also points to the correct product type, correct manufacturing date, correct product name, and correct PBA number. Unfortunately, the MAC address on the YottaMark page and the MAC address printed on the box/card label differ.
Should I consider the card counterfeit and return it? I assume the MAC addresses should match between the actual card and YottaMark or is there some known issue with this?
Other than the MAC mismatch, the card looks very good. The PulseJacks look laser etched, etc.
What is the best way to validate I have a genuine card? How big of a problem is the mis-matched MAC address?
Thanks,
Barry

X710-DA4 not respecting Base Processor
Have a dual socket HP Z840 with NIC attached to CPU1 runing windows server 2016.
Have a X710-DA4 with 22.6 driver installed.
Utilizing 2 ports on NIC, trying to set 1 port to Numa 1, core 0 and Numa 1 core 3.
Using Closest static profile.
Only the first NIC port for Numa 1 core 0 is being "respected.
The second NIC port for Numa 1, core 3 is landing on core 2...
I have tried changing around the second port to be on other cores as well to no avail...
Any idea if there is a bug to numa node base processor core binding?
Each NIC set to max process or 1 and queue 1...
Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated.

Why the STP can reduce performance on teaming?
I made a teaming configuration with 2 NICs on motherboard under Windows 7.
I set them as Static Link Aggregation and also configure a network switch.
And I found that the network connection bandwidth became 2G on the Taskmanager as I desired.
But, when I made a switch test configuration test on the Windows, I found a message such like this.
"Spanning Tree Protocol has been detected on the network. If you want increase the network performance, You have to disable STP on the switch ports"
(I'm using foreign language version of Windows, So, It's not exactly same as display But same meaning)
My question is why STP can reduce the performance of teaming network?
And, I expected that I can see the 2Gbps of bandwidth during copy a file via network.
But, I couldn't see the bandwidth over than 1~1.2Gbps. Is this also related with this issue?
Waiting your advices.
Thanks.
i210 blue screen on install and during operation
Hello,
I'm running Windows Server 2016 on a Asus P10 WS mainboard. This MB has two i210 network interfaces on-board. Currently, I'm using only one of them, the second one is disabled in Windows device manager.
The driver installed has a date of 08.12.2016 and a version of 12.15.184.0 (as shown in device manager.)
For the interface in use I have enabled teaming in Windows to use different VLANs. For a while now, there were two virtual adapters "Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Driver #X" in my system, each configured with a different VLAN ID. This has been working quite well for some time now.
Recently, I tried to add a third VLAN. During configuration, the machine crashed with a blue screen. After reboot, the third virtual interface was there regardless. Now, I'm experiencing (seemingly) random crashes (blue screens) every once in a while. They seem to be more frequent when the new, third virtual adapter is being used a lot, but I can't really put my finger on it.
However, when I run the executable of the latest Intel driver package PROWinx64.exe v22.7.1, there is a reproducible blue screen as soon as the new driver is being installed. There is an additional popup by the installer that says something like "installing driver for i210 Gigabyte connection...". That's when the machine crashes consistently.
The memdump analysis says the following (first example is a "random" crash, second one is the "driver install" crash:)

Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I217-LM Slow Download Speed
Dear people of the Intel Community
I own an HP ProDesk 600 GI TWR wich i actually only use for playing video games. This PC only has an wired internet adapter build on the motherboard.
I also own an Xbox One, and when i play on either one of them i plug in an U-UTP cable for the best performance.
My average download speed is around 35mb/s and i do get this speed on my Xbox.
But i noticed on my PC that the download speed doesnt get past 4mb/s.
The strange thing is that i use the same cable and im using the same network, both of my xbox as my pc are standing at the same location only a couple of meters away from the router.
I updated the driver to the latest version but still it wont get the same speeds as my Xbox.
According to the specs of the network adapter it can handle speeds up to 1GB.
Is there an solution to this problem? Or are there external wired ethernet adapters? Because i prefer a cable over wifi.
I hope someone can help me with this problem!
Thank you in advance
Dean
