we have developped a board based on iMX6 + i211/i210 Ethernet MAC/Phy and Linux 3.0.35
I have compiled the igb 5.0.6 and igbvf 2.3.2 to have the drives for my kernel version.
The driver is loading without any problem using insmod, but now I need to setup a MAC address for my i211.
Is ist possible to setup the MAC address using driver parameters?
Do I need to have an external EEPROM with the i210 or is it possible to setup everything throug the PCIe link?
