Hello!
I am currently experiencing an issue across a range of machines (All Optiplex 5040s with Intel i219-V NICs) that when they wake from sleep about 50% of the time the NIC drops off the system (no network card detected).
On wakeup there is an event in the event log from e1dexpress event ID 56:
Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V
The network driver has been stopped because the network adapter has been removed.
The next event is
Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V
Network link is disconnected.
In device manager the device shows a warning and a status of:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
We've updated/downgraded the network drivers to no avail.
Any ideas?
Bill
