Hi,
I have few clarifications on the Receive side scaling (RSS) setting in a Windows 7 OS. I want to disable the RSS because it gives some performance issues, so executed the command "netsh int tcp set global rss=disabled" and when I checked at the Network adapter properties, I still see the Recieve side scaling is enabled.
1. I would like to understand the difference between setting the RSS disabled using the command and disabling the same using the Network adapter properties. (How it works, which takes priority)
2. Is there any known issues if the RSS is disabled using the command line.
please share any info on this topic.
Appreciate your help!
Regards,
Prabu
