HI all, I'm looking for a best practice or config advice. We have new Dell Servers and Compellent iSCSI storage. The servers have x710 net adapters and have 2 ports 10G coax to Nexus switch trunk ports.
Ideal solution is fail over teamed adapters for Hyper-V virtual machines able to take advantage of SR-IOV
and a FO team for live migration\cluster traffic
and finally either a FO team or seperate vNics for iSCSI traffic.
I tried teaming, then splitting out vlans, but I found that SR-IOV is not supported on ANS teams.
How can I get the failover redundancy for the LAN\Virtual Machine network and still take advantage of either SR-IOV or at least VMQ?
Any guidance or experience is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!
