I am currently using two separate boards with integrated I218-V and I219-V network adapters, hard wired through CAT6 cables to a switch.
When the I219-V machine is in S4/S5 sleep the link LED on the adapter and switch turn off.
When the I218-V machine is in S4/S5 sleep the link LED on the adapter and switch remain on.
Both adapters are configured with WOL disabled in the UEFI and also windows. The I218-V also continues showing a link if ErP is enabled. For my setup it is important to be able to tell the machines status by the light on the switch which is located in a separate room.
Any suggestions on why the two adapters are behaving differently, and how to configure them to behave in the same way?
