QSFP+ Configuration modification is not supported by this adapter

Hello,

I have a XL710 adapter that I am unable to get setup.  I am trying to set the mode using the qcu64e utility without any success:

# ./qcu64e /NIC=1 /INFO

QSFP+ Configuration modification is not supported by this adapter.

Here is the adapter I have:

# lspci | grep -i xl710

81:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller XL710 for 40GbE QSFP+ (rev 02)
